Summary of Rules


When to Slap

  • Doubles (two same value cards)
  • Sandwiches (e.g. 7-4-7)
  • Marriages (consecutive Q and K or K and Q)
  • Sums to 10

Other Rules

  • You can block other players before they slap by placing another card
  • Penalty: place the top card on the bottom of the pile (if slapped at the wrong time)
  • Player with the most fingers on the pile wins the cards

Setup & Requirements

  • 52 cards
  • 2-10 people
  • Distribute all cards equally among players (Face Down)
  • Flow of gameplay is clockwise (starting with the player after the dealer)
  • Goal: Get all the cards

Face Cards & Aces

  • Jack = 1 extra turn
  • Queen = 2 extra turns
  • King = 3 extra turns
  • Ace = 4 extra turns
  • If a player fails to play a face card or ace during extra turns, the last player who did play one collects the pile
  • Should a player deplete their cards during extra turns, the next player continues from where they stopped
  • During a chain of extra turns, any player can interrupt by slapping the pile if a slap opportunity occurs, claiming the pile
